Search engine algorithms use a wide range of factors to rank web pages such as a page title and description, content, etc. A doorway page is intended to stuff the ranking factors like those mentioned above with popular keywords (i.e. britney spears, sex, free, etc) that bring a lot of traffic to a website. Because the page is loaded with popular keywords or a lot of keywords regarding a specific search phrase, they are ranked high on the results page. However when a new visitor clicks a link off of a doorway page, they are not taken to what they are looking for. Doorway pages were intended to bring a lot of traffic to a website by misleading interested visitors.

I was recently laid of about 3 months ago. I decided that I thought I would look up ways to earn an extra income or even make a full time living. I have been taken by some of the others out there and was EXTREMELY skeptical about ANY of them.

This guy is a coach that sells a program that teaches you how to do internet marketing. He teaches you through how to videos. You start for $ 1 (that is donated to the make a wish foundation). He guaranties that if you follow his program you will make enough to pay for the next month AND I DID! It has cost a lot less then I EVER imagined to get started and actually start making money.

I had done some sales when I managed apartments, but nothing like this. He is VERY thorough. Now that i am starting to make my own income I wish I could go and give my old boss the finger. But I am better then that.

If you give it a try let me know. I have been telling all my friends but so many people are still so skeptical about what I do. I have even shown then my checks. They just think they have to be super internet savvy.

This is done by using a .htaccess file, and works fine with GoDaddy.
Let me show you how I did this for my own website.

You need to choose whether your site should appear with the www or without it after the page loads. I suggest having it appear WITH the www

Create a file called .htaccess (Note- nothing goes before the .) You can do this in Notepad. Insert the following lines:

RewriteEngine on
#
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.yourdomain.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/$ 1 [R=301,L]

The only thing you should change is replace yourdomain with what your domain really is. Also, replace com with org or whatever if your domain is not a .com.

This will result in a page requested as yourdomain.com returning a 301 message to the browser (and Googlebot) saying the page has permanently moved and the correct page name is http://www.yourdomain.com

This is exactly what you want. Upload the file to your server root, and you’re done.

IMPORTANT: If you make any mistakes in this file, be aware that it will mess up the server, which will not deliver any pages at all until you either delete the .htaccess file or fix it.

By the way, in Google Webmaster Tools, make sure you specify the same preference- that you want the www.

My favorite keyword tool is WordTracker.com. As part of their subscription service, which isn’t exactly cheap, you get quite a few useful tools. But they do have a free trial that you can use as many times as you want, and many people often find that the free tool suits their needs. Theres also a free keyword tool at SEO Book that i’ve found to be quite helpful and accurate.

I tried to picture this and it it just seems tacky. I would go with something different unless you would feel comfortable in this getup. But either way remember to have fun and its the one day a year you can be and dress however you choose. Happy Hauntings.

I like the fitting jeans, white tank, work boots, hat and belt. Think about this, when you see construction workers, what do they wear the most? I would however make sure the tank is very fitted, and pull your hair up in pig tails. Kind of like Heidi on Tool Time/Home Improvement! You could also use a handkerchief in the back pocket:)
