Automated Linking Services are a great way to get links.  But if you know what you are doing and are not aftaid to take the next step, try Blackhat Link Cloaking.  You can turn reciprocal links into oneway links in the eyes of the search engines.  Everyon besides a search engine spider will see the links just fine.  Even the automated Linking Services Link Bot will see the links and youe account will be safe because nobody will have a clue but you!

It toolk me months to get Link Cloaking working just right and now it works perfect!  I would still like to add some stats that report when and how many spiders came to look for your links and went away disapointed.  It is 8/29/2010 right now and I should have the stats workiing in a week or two…

When the Internet way new, all websites were fresh and new like a newspaper.  But over time static websites get old and outdated.  Eventually it’s bound to happen to any website based on static content.  This is what I call a mature website.  It has past the development cycle and usually been online and indexed by the search engines for several years.

Mature websites performed their function well over the years and have become some what of an after thought to their owners.  It’s not until the march of time catches up to them and it begins to lag in the search engine results that it becomes obvious something is wrong.

When a website stops changing, it sits still and the rest of the world keeps right on going without it.  The search engines begin to pay less attention to it because they prefer relevant and timely content.  After all, they are not in the business of indexing history books.  Search engines want what their users want and they want to know about what is going on today.  They want websites that are more like news papers.

If your website has become more like a history book than a news paper, it will eventually begin to suffer its search engine rankings and a drop in traffic.  While it’s never to late to do something about this kind of situation, it’s always better to address the issue before it becomes a problem.

Starting where you left off on your website by making new pages and linking them to the old ones is an option.  However the underlying technology itself is outdated and it a good idea to look at implementing a content management system instead.
